Mike was absolutely wonderful! I had a medical condition and had to fly home from Arizona to Ohio. I didn’t want to fly my kitties in cargo. Mike went out of his way to assist me with the transport. He actually flew into Phoenix and we did a hand off with my cats and vehicle, he was here in record time and kept in touch the entire time. My kitties arrived safe and sound and Ruby actually fell in love with him on the trip. He really is a caring and trustworthy individual. If I ever need assistance again he is the only one I would call!

After 3 years I was reunited with Sophie, my golden retriever, thanks to Mike Avery and his driver, Chris. Chris was able to rescue Sophie from a very challenging situation in PA and transport her to my doorstep in CA within a little over three days! It was clear that Chris and Sophie had bonded over their journey braving severe winter weather. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to Mike for his patience, accessibility and professionalism in orchestrating an immediate response to what he recognized as a potentially dangerous situation. I knew from my first contact with Mike that he was a reputable, kind individual who could be trusted. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and his team to anyone in search of private pet transport.

I am not a person that writes reviews. My recent experience this month 11/22 with Mike Avery and Jerry (driver) convinced me that letting folks know how professional this operation is, would be of value for anyone looking for a Pet Transporter.
We recently purchased a dog from the Cincinnati area and were looking for a Pet Transport provider who could meet us in PA for the “hand off”. Beginning the process online is confusing at best. After contacting a few pet transport businesses, we contacted PETS and spoke to Mike (yes not voice mail tag, actual conversation). I had a level of confidence after our first conversation that continued throughout the process. They contacted and worked with the seller to establish travel requirements and ground rules- kept us in the loop the entire time- and delivered our Red Setter on time and in perfect condition. Thanks, guys!!!

I wanted to adopt a dog but lived too far away. My options were limited but thankfully I found Mike and our driver, Joe who made it possible. Joe cared for the transport of our adopted dog as if he was his own. It was a long distance but at every turn Joe kept me updated on his arrival status and how my pup was doing. My pup is very large and very gentle and received loving VIP care. Anyone who wants a dog and distance is an issue must check out pet express transport as this organization exceeded my expectations. I am so grateful to my driver Joe for all his great compassion and care.

I recently bought my boyfriend a puppy and the original transportation service I had provided cancelled last minute due to inclement weather! We immediately felt anxious that it would take forever to finally meet our little pup. My boyfriend luckily got in touch with Michael, who spoke with confidence, assuring us that our puppy will be delivered to us quickly and safely door to door. Michael was a quick responder and kept his word about every little detail. Our driver Joe was great as well and kept us updated the entire time. I wish all companies operated so smoothly! We are beyond pleased with this service!

I would like to think Mike and Bentley for the greatest service I could get first carrier fell through with about five minutes to spare and Mike and Bentley jumped right in and save my day I can’t say enough about these guys greatest company greatest people I’ve ever dealt with you can’t go wrong if you need their service Give them a call he won’t be sorry

I cannot speak highly enough about the EXCELLENT service we received. They were responsive, knowledgeable, experienced and treated our English Mastiff puppy like royalty. I flew to OK from MT to pick up our puppy and fly her home in the cabin with me. But, within one week she had grown so much that she didn’t fit in her TSA approved carrier. Literally, within hours, I received a quote, spoke to the owner and had a driver lined up to pick up our little sweetheart the very next day. Here we are 3 days later and she is safe and sound in her new home. I highly recommend this company and would use them again in a heartbeat.

This team did a great job taking care of my dog. I would recommend to all to trust them in the care of your pet!

Thank you SO Much for picking up our little Welsh Corgi puppy in Michigan and bringing it to us in Georgia!! I know it was a Long trip, but totally worth it fir such great care and delivery.

Our cats were picked up this morning for a long drive home. I can honestly say the pick up couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The driver did an excellent job with our cats and is doing a great job keeping us informed of how they’re doing on the road. I’m sure I’ll have a rave review to write after they’re delivered. Thank you Mike!

I found myself stuck in a very difficult situation which required getting my newly purchased dog from eastern Ohio to western Michigan within 24 hours. Worse, I needed to pay the dog in cash but couldn’t get the money to the dog owners in time.

Spoke with Mike, explained the situation, he volunteered to find a driver, fronted the cash, and got our newest family member in order to make my wife’s birthday, which was a success far beyond amazing. He organized a driver (who was perfectly communicative throughout the process), organized the cash, and got our dog to us far ahead of schedule.

We are beaming, so incredibly happy I found my way to the P.E.T.S. team, and can’t thank all involved enough. Please feel free to contact me if you need a direct reference as I couldn’t be more supportive.

What can I say? Mike Avery and his te am (Todd Toole) bailed us out of an impossible situation. We have a large German Shepherd. He was too big to crate and fly. One call to Mike Avery and all was arranged. Even though Mike is based in Kentucky, he arranged for a driver (Todd) to drive to Denver, and then to drive from Denver to Ajijic, Mexico with Remy in the back seat, as though he was in a limo. Remy was so well cared for; he traveled without stress, and made the journey happy and unscathed as long as it was. We are so very grateful. We were called and kept informed every step of the way and the meet up in Ajijic was smooth, and seamless. I can tell you it was so worth it for us and for our dog. I can’t imagine another company that would or could have provided this level of service. Thank you Mike and Todd.

I recently relocated from Florida to Wisconsin and came across Mike’s website after searching how to move my pets safely. Mike was very professional and accommodating with my situation since it involved the sale of my home and trying to coordinate a moving date with a sale/closing date. I had to reschedule a few times due to changes with the home sale and packing and Mike was very patient and understanding with me. Then Hurricane Dorian pushed me out earlier for another change in plans and Mike scrambled to get me a driver on short notice. My driver Todd gave up his Labor Day weekend to fly to Florida with a hurricane threatening just to drive me, my 3 cats and my 5 pound Yorkie in my vehicle all the way back to Wisconsin. I was nervous at first but Todd was very kind and professional and reassuring and made the entire trip a great experience and he was very caring and friendly and comfortable to be with for 24 hours in a vehicle going cross country. He safely delivered me and my fur baby family and vehicle and even helped me get them into the house and settled once we arrived. I can’t stress enough how Mike and Todd took a bad situation for me and turned it into a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend them with no hesitation whatsoever. If you are considering using Mike’s services please don’t have any hesitation because he is the real deal and you can trust him completely. Todd was the absolute best driver and pleasant to talk to the entire trip and I wish him all the best. Todd and Mike thank you both so very much from Pam, Harley, Black Kitty, Willy and Friendly for the excellent caring services and going above and beyond with the hurricane threatening us. Grits had been through a lot these past 6 weeks. I moved and he was staying at a shelter. I needed him home. We were on a timeline. I called around and Mike was the only one to actually answer his phone. When he told me about the personalized service (my dog and only my dog in the vehicle) I was super impressed. The last thing I wanted to do was stress Grits out any more than he was already. Literally the next day, he was picked up by John and Colleen; two stellar people, and delivered to me by midnight! Along the way I got updates and photos and even a hug when they arrived! Grits is now back where he belongs and I would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend!!!

Jerry was incredibly professional. Transported our puppies from Ohio to Texas. Constant Communication and our fur babies did not seem stressed at all in fact I think they were sorry to see Jerry go bye. Very much recommended.
